Vote Sabrena Turner For District 7 - And Response

  • Thursday, January 23, 2014

When I consider a field of candidates for public office, I try to weigh their past actions and what they stood for prior to seeking public office.  While I don’t live in District 7, I am keenly aware of who was on the frontlines in District 7 fighting against annexation, and the needs of District 7 infrastructure.

When the city of Chattanooga was on an annexation tear, Sabrena Turner was on the frontlines petitioning, organizing and resisting annexation.

Sabrena is also a spokesperson for real people, with real needs. Sabrina will pick up the phone and insist on accountabilily for her district. She is already a proven leader.  I know she has supported the needs of many people in District 7.

District 7 should consider who has been there for them, and who is just showing up as an anointed to run.

Vote Sabrena Turner District 7.

I plan to vote for Sabrena Turner for Hamilton County Commission, District 7. Sabrena owns a small business, understands the economic condition of Hamilton County and particularly the conditions of District 7. She will bring valuable skills and perspectives to the discussions of the Hamilton County Commission that will positively impact the entire county as well. And she will well represent the views of her neighbors in this district.

I know she has the ability to serve with dignity and integrity if nominated and elected.

I hope those citizens of District 7 who know me will join me in nominating and electing Sabrena Turner as our next Hamilton County Commissioner from District 7.
