Nic & Norman's Expanding Its Footprint At The Choo Choo

  • Friday, May 3, 2024

Nic & Norman’s is expanding its footprint at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, 1386 Market St.

Like several other restaurants in the complex, the new beer permit that was approved for the business on Thursday, will allow customers to take beer out to the gardens and into the dome area of the lobby.

David Valentine, with the restaurant, told the beer board that the expansion of the current permit is event driven and he does not expect that it will be a daily practice.

Ms. Ps Jamaican Restaurant, 6940 Lee Highway, has been approved for a consumer and carry-out beer license. Just 12-13 customers can be seated at the small family-owned restaurant that serves Jamaican styled food that is available for dining in or to take out.

The restaurant is open from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 1 until 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday. It is closed on Monday.
