Jason Pendley and Michael Williams
The Mind If I Smoke BBQ Team of Michael Williams and Jason Pendley won the Kansas City Barbecue Society Reelin' and Smokin' BBQ Contest Saturday in Huntsville, Al.
Mr. Williams' Rib entry was judged perfect with a score of 180 and finished first. The chicken thighs turned in by Mr. Pendley came in third place thrusting the North Georgia team into the overall winner's circle from a field of 35 participants.
Both Mr. Williams and Mr. Pendley are on the Pro Staff at Owls Nest BBQ Supply in Ooltewah.
