Catoosa Fuller Center Hosts Fuller Bike Adventure For Community Home Repair

  • Friday, June 13, 2025
The Catoosa Fuller Center for Housing welcomed 20 bicyclists from the Fuller Bike Adventure to Ringgold for a day of impactful home repair projects.

These cross-country adventurers, on a 10-week, 3,800-mile journey from Florida to Florence, dedicated their final day in Georgia to volunteering in Catoosa County. Their efforts included repairing a hazardous deck, building a wheelchair ramp, and installing insulation and cabinets in a home recovering from a fire.

“We are less than two weeks into the Florida-to-Florence ride and already have three build days behind us,” one bicyclist from the group said on Facebook.
“It takes a lot of pedaling to go 3,800 miles... but it's also good to hop off the bikes and practice what we preach, as well.”

“We were thrilled to host the Fuller Bike Adventure team,” said Tony Hullender, Catoosa Fuller Center chairman. “With their help, our volunteers, donors and the support of First Baptist Church of Ringgold and Ringgold United Methodist Church, we improved the lives of three local families.”

The Fuller Center extends gratitude to the churches for providing lodging and meals for the cyclists. To support future efforts, join the Catoosa Fuller Center for Housing Golf Tournament on Sept. 9 at Battlefield Golf Club.
