Lee A. Hollomon walked through the gates of heaven on July 2, 2025, and was greeted by his parents, Carroll and Lucille Hollomon, his brother Ed, and sister, Shirley.

Lee grew up in the Chattanooga area. He was very active in the Boy Scouts, where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Tyner High School in 1967. Lee attended Chattanooga State earning an Associates of Engineering. He joined and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. He later returned to the Chattanooga area, where he attended UTC earning a Bachelor's and Master's of Science. He worked for TVA and retired after 30 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard and tinkering with his model trains. He was an avid hiker! Lee hiked over 1800 miles of the Appalachian Trail and many more trails across the southeast. He looked forward to his family vacations at the beach, where you would find him every sunrise walking the shores wearing his orange visor.

Those left to treasure his memory are his wife of 41 years, Tanya Monday Hollomon, his daughters, Susan Pitts (Mike) and Alicia Releford (Chris); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Annette Tollett and many nieces and nephews. He loves each and every one!

The family would like to give thanks to Hearth Hospice, Janet Sledd, and our deepest heartfelt gratitude to Lee and Cindy Wolff.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Boy Scouts of America, at https://donations.scouting.org or to The Pet Placement Center, at https://petplacementcenter.charityproud.org

Visitation is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.

Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
