Marion County's Lucas Coffelt Signs With Bryan College

The Bryan College men's golf program is pleased to announce the signing of Lucas Coffelt to a letter of intent to play for the Lions in the fall of 2014. He is a standout golfer and basketball player for Marion County High School (Tenn.) where he was the varsity captain and competed in the Tennessee 2013 Class A-AA tournament this fall. Coffelt is a strong student who has performed well both on the field and in the classroom. His talent, discipline and character give him strong potential for college golf at Bryan College.

High School Coach Jeff Howard spoke glowingly of Lucas's talent and potential and comes from a strong family with great character which are key ingredients to success in life. Bryan Coach Peter Bollant said, "We are excited about adding a talented young golfer like Lucas to our team. His power and discipline give him the key ingredients to do well. We are even more excited about adding a young man with the kind of character and potential for leadership that Lucas has."
