The First Horizon Foundation Pop Series with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra will present A Salute to John Williams in the final concert of the 23-24 season. The concert will be held Saturday, May 11, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and music beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium.

Film composer Vincent Oppido joins the CSO for an exciting evening of music celebrating John Williams and the Oscar-winning film scores that inspired him. In the first half of the program, Mr. Oppido will guide the audience through several works that helped lay the foundation for Mr. Williams' compositions, showing the connections to Mr. Williams' masterpieces with fun and informative insights. Then the CSO and Mr. Oppido will present a tour de force of Mr. Williams' greatest works, featuring music from E.T., Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Gone With the Wind, and more.
