Patsy Cline
The North River Civic Center Concert Series presents a "Tribute to Patsy Cline." The program, this Friday from 7-8 p.m., features local singer Clare V. Donohue.
Patsy Cline (born Virginia Patterson Hensley; Sept. 8, 1932 – March 5, 1963) was an American singer. She is considered one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century and was one of the first country music artists to cross over into pop music.
Ms. Cline had several major hits during her eight year recording career, including two number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country and Western Sides Chart.
