For the second consecutive day the Rocket City Trash Pandas were able to get to the Chattanooga starting pitcher, beating the Lookouts by a score of 8-2 in the series finale. The two teams split the six game series with three wins apiece.
On Sunday it was Ryan Cardona who didn't have it on the mound for Chattanooga. Cardona lasted just three innings and gave up seven runs on seven hits. He moves to 5-3 on the season with the loss.
Offensively the Lookouts cracked ten hits but also struck out ten times and left twelve runners on base. Cam Collier led the charge with a 3-3 day. Shortstop Edwin Arroyo hit his second homerun of the season.
The Lookouts will now enjoy four days off for the All-Star break. They sit at 8 wins and 9 losses in the second half of the season. They are 2.5 games behind division leading Birmingham Barons.
