Erlanger announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. Additional updates for this fiscal year include the continued service of the board chair, the extension of the CEO’s contract, and new committee leadership.

Officials said, "Guided by the visionary leadership of Board Chair Sheila Boyington and CEO Jim Coleman, the board has helped position Erlanger for long-term success. Among their most transformative achievements: transitioning the organization from a public health system to a private, not-for-profit entity and completing an ambitious master facilities plan - paving the way for expanded access, innovative care and future growth.

“We are incredibly proud of the committed and passionate leadership our board continues to demonstrate,” said Ms.  Boyington. “Their deep expertise, genuine care for the patients and communities we serve, and unwavering dedication to our mission have laid a strong foundation that will support Erlanger for many years to come.”

Joining the Board is Andy Stockett, founder and managing director of FourBridges Capital Advisors, an investment banking firm based in Chattanooga. He brings decades of financial leadership, including senior roles at Raymond James and as CFO and shareholder of Big River Grille. Dr. Maclellan earned his M.D. from the University of Alabama and holds advanced degrees from Harvard Business School and Harvard Medical School.

In addition to welcoming two new members, Ms. Boyington will continue as chair as she begins her ninth year on the board.

Mr. Coleman has accepted the board’s offer to extend his contract past its expiration of  2026. The new contract will take effect upon the conclusion of his existing term and will extend his leadership.
