IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga Is Sunday

The 2024 Qatar Airways IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga Triathlon Chattanooga, is set to host the fifth race of the IRONMAN Pro Series.

Top professional triathletes from around the world will converge in southeastern Tennessee to battle for a piece of the $50,000 total event pro prize purse.

IRONMAN Pro Series Panel to take place on at 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Tennessee Aquarium, 1 Broad St., and is free and open to the public.

The 2024 Qatar Airways IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga triathlon will see athletes kick off their race with a 1.4-mile swim in the Tennessee River before embarking on the 56-mile bike course through northern Georgia and historic Chickamauga. The 13.1-mile run course takes athletes through scenic downtown Chattanooga before finishing at Ross’s Landing along the Tennessee River.

The event will welcome over 3,500 registered participants from 31 countries, regions and territories, and all 50 U.S. States. The top five countries represented are the United States, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, and Great Britain. The Top five U.S. States represented are Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia.
