Betty Drecoll
Betty Jean Drecoll, 84, of Hixson, died on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
She was a longtime resident of Hixson and of the Baptist faith. Betty had worked at DuPont, Fox Photo and Kays Kastle at Highland Plaza. She was avid at needle work and loved her nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Drecoll; parents, Stetson and Polly Harcrow and brothers, Ralph and Harold Harcrow.
Survivors include her sisters, Shirley (Bill) Williams, Roberta Henderson and Kathryn Profitt; brothers, Glen Harcrow and Nicky (Linda) Harcrow; special friend, Carolyn and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ricky Harcrow officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
