Department Of Labor To Help Lookout Mountain Community Services Recruit Instructors

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Lookout Mountain Community Services, an organization that provides services to special-needs individuals, recruit 11 instructors. The full-time and part-time instructors will provide mental health, substance abuse, and disability services to the individuals.

The recruitment will be held Tuesday, Sept.

, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the GDOL’s LaFayette Career Center, 200 West Villanow St.

Applicants must have a minimum of an associate degree in human services or a related field, a valid class C driver’s license, and computer and communications skills. Those with previous experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) are encouraged to apply. Also, military veterans are encouraged to apply.
