Cleveland High School Track Teams Head To State

The Cleveland High School girls and boys track teams have qualified 15 student-athletes to compete at the State Track Meet at MTSU for Division AAA on Wednesday and Thursday. 

Junior Maddie Coulthard won the Section with a jump of 10 feet and is heading to state in girls pole vault.  The girls 4x400 relay team, consisting of Charissa Ryan, Narissa Riley, Erin Stutzman and Andrea Wilhelm, will also make a state appearance.  

For the boys, senior Isaiah Beaty qualified in the boys high jump and discus.

 Benjedi Casseus earned a spot at state in the 300 hurdles.  Senior Stephen Cannon won the Section in the open 100m with a time of 10.97, earning his spot at state.  Freshman Keegan Jones qualified in the long jump.  The boys 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams, consisting of Stephen Cannon, T.J. Parker, Eric Goodwin, Luke Stone, Romeo Wykle, Robert Anderson, Keegan Jones and Matt Hattabaugh, both made it to state.
