Signal Mountain Beats Stuart Heights In CASL Blue Battle

Green Giants Face Dalton Thursday For First Place In Division

The Signal Mountain Green Giants improved to 3-1 in the Chattanooga Area Swim League's Blue Division with a 417-351 victory over arch-rival Stuart Heights on Wednesday night at Signal Mountain in a makeup meet from June 8.

Jewel Gordon and Charlie Han both scored the maximum 19 points to lead the victorious Green Giants while Susanna LaRochelle added 18.

Jennifer Daverson, Chase Post, Philip Pedigo and Chapman Varnell all finished with 17 points for Signal Mountain.

Jon Pat Ransom was the leading scorer for Stuart Heights with 18 points while Luke Waldrep, Elizabeth Lydon and Ellie Waldrep all followed with 17.

Signal Mountain will be at home again on Thursday night to host the undefeated Dalton Dolphins in a battle for first place in the division.  Stuart Heights will also be at home to face the Fairyland Flash.
