Richard Randolph Daughtery
Richard Randolph “Randy” Daughtery, Sr., 64, of Sale Creek, died on Friday, June 5, 2015. He was a member of Christ Family Church.
Randy was a proud member of the Iron Workers Union Local 704 and was semi-retired. He was respected by all and loved by most.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, John and Roberta Daughtery; sister, Helen Humphreys; brother, Charles Davis and sisters, Nancy Prater and Mary Hixson.
Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Mona Daughtery; daughter, Shelly Milligan (Jamie); son, Richard Daughtery II; daughter, Rhonda Laymon (Derek); grandchildren, Corbin Laymon, Morgan Laymon and Hannah Milligan; sisters, Jean Lukowski, Shelby Schweiger, Marcene Romesburg, Johnie Stepp, Carolyn Delashmitt, Diane Early; brothers, Kenneth Daughtery and Terry Daughtery and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, at 2:30 p.m. at Christ Family Church, 12070 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379, with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating.
Visitation is on Tuesday from 1-2:30 p.m. at the church before the service.
The family would like to give a special thank you to their church family at Christ Family Church, Rick Pollard and the Iron Workers Union Local 704.
In lieu flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Randy's mother and sisters.
