Richard Ervin Named Executive Director Of Life Care Center Of Ooltewah

Life Care Center of Ooltewah is welcoming a new executive director, Richard Ervin.  “Richard has years of experience in long-term health care,” said Carolyn Freeman, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Cumberland Region. “He’s dedicated to serving our customers.” 

Mr. Ervin comes to Life Care Center of Ooltewah from Holston Manor in Kingsport, Tenn., where he served as the executive director.

Prior to that, he worked in administration at various independent living, assisted living and skilled rehab facilities.        

“I’ve been in long-term health care for 24 years – it’s a part of my history,” said Mr. Ervin. “My parents were both administrators at nursing homes, and I’ve always been passionate about caring for seniors.”

Originally from Johnson City, Tenn., Mr. Ervin currently resides on Signal Mountain with his wife and two children.      

Life Care Center of Ooltewah, located 5911 Snow Hill Road, is one of 25 skilled nursing and rehab facilities in Tennessee operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
