Chattanooga's oldest volunteer organization for women, the Junior League of Chattanooga, announces its 2016-2017 president and board of directors.  Native Chattanoogan Caroline Walker, a commercial banking officer at FSG Bank, has been selected to serve as the 2016-2017 Junior League of Chattanooga president.

Ms. Walker is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theater from the New School in New York City. She is the daughter of former Bright School and McCallie School Headmaster Dr. Kirk Walker and Mrs. Patsi Walker. She is the granddaughter of former City of Chattanooga Mayor Robert Kirk Walker and Mrs. Joy Walker.

“I am excited and honored to be involved in an organization of such dynamic, motivated, and driven women leaders," said Ms. Walker.  "JLC will celebrate its centennial anniversary in 2017, which means our members have impacted the Chattanooga community for 100 years and we are actively working to make sure the next 100 years are just as effective.”
