The Erlanger Health System Cancer Center and Pastoral Care services are offering a cancer support group on Fridays from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Ronald McDonald House.
The cancer support group invites patients, family members and friends who have been touched by cancer. The support group will include a short information session on cancer topics as well as time for discussion and fellowship.
“We know many individuals who are experiencing cancer either as a patient or a loved one, and all have a need for support along the way,” said Janet Kramer Mai, Erlanger’s Breast Health Navigator.
“Our goal for this new support group is to create an opportunity for educational information such as navigating a diagnosis and managing cancer treatment while also proving emotional support through group discussion or one-on-one conversations.”
Any member from the community is invited to attend the cancer support group. Parking is available at the Ronald McDonald House and refreshments will be provided. Call 423-778-5030 for more information.
