Diane Summey Cannon, 65, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Burton Summey; her mother, Grace Moore Summey; and granddaughter, Madison Zimmerman.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Cannon; her daughters and sons-in law, Erica and Chris Zimmerman of Tunnel Hill, Ginger and Joel King of Ringgold, Kaley Cannon of Dalton, Estrella Cannon of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Paul and Eria Summey of Dalton, Austin Cannon, Aron Cannon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and Don Postell of Leesburg, FL, Pat and James Walraven of Dalton, Cheryl and Larry Wimpey of Dalton, Brenda Hansird of Chatsworth, Becky Luckett of Dalton; two brothers, Bruce Summey and Don McDaniel, both of Varnell; grandchildren, Blake Cannon, Jordan Cannon, Gage Cannon, Gavin Vali, Landyn Vali, Georgia King, Ella King; great-grandchildren, Emerie-Grace Cannon and Liam Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Fairy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Crandall, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 22, from 5-8 p.m.
