Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts will hold its Eighth Annual “Dinner and the Arts” Gala on Thursday, Jan. 26. This artful event will feature a dinner performance, a silent and live auction, as well as a gourmet meal by Beast & Barrel restaurant and dessert by Southern Star. Auction items include Disney World and Dollywood tickets, local restaurant gift cards, and much more. 

CCA students major in eight areas of the arts including: acting, communications, dance,
instrumental music, musical theatre, technical theatre, visual art, and vocal music. Students
from each art department, including Project Motion Dancers and Choo Choo Kids, will showcase their work during the dinner performance or auction portion of this event. 

Principal Debbie Smith said, “This exciting evening provides all that attend an opportunity to see the passion and talent that our students bring to the stage. There are items in our silent and live auctions for all ages. All proceeds support both our arts and academic programs. It is truly a night to remember.” 

The auction will be from 5-6:30 p.m. and dinner and the show begins at 6:30 p.m. It will be held at the Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts, 1301 Dallas Road. 

Admission is $35 per person, tables and corporate sponsorship are also available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.centerforcreativearts.net or by calling CCA at 209-5929. Deadline for securing tickets is Jan. 24. 

Proceeds from this annual event will be used to support CCA students and faculty in their academic and artistic programs. CCA is a public school; all donations are tax deductible.
