Chattanooga Police Department Hosts Coffee With A Cop On Saturday

  • Friday, October 6, 2017

The Chattanooga Police Department will be hosting a Coffee with a Cop event on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Earth Fare in Hixson.

Organizers said, "The purpose of this event is for the community to come, sit and have an open dialogue with members of the department while sharing a cup of coffee. The conversations will take place at multiple tables and community members will be able to sit with an officer and share concerns or ask questions. It is our hope that through communication we can discuss issues and build relationships between police and the community we serve."

The event is being hosted in partnership with the regional AARP who are providing personal document shredding free of charge.
