Charles John Moore, Jr., 66, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nettie Fairbanks Moore; brothers, Jim and Wayne Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Willie Moore; son, Greg (Angie) Moore; sisters, Cleo Williamson, Jackie Griffin and Shirley Brooks; grandchildren, Cody and Bailey Moore and Kayla (Chad) Archey; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Nolan and Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Frank Wright officiating. Interment will follow in New McDonald Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 24, from 2–8 p.m. at the funeral home.
