Choose Either Roddy Or McPherson For Police Chief

  • Sunday, July 9, 2017

I wish that either David Roddy or Edwin McPherson be named as the next Chattanooga Police chief. They are real police officers who spent their time on the street and have risen through the ranks. Real cops.

David was SWAT team commander when I hosted a British military policeman, and was a gracious host. Edwin was one of my best friend's partner. I only met him a time or two, but if Whitmo trusted him, I do.

Either of them would be great choices.

We need a chief who is from here and has worked his way up here. This is Hamilton County and Chattanooga, we need somebody who knows us and where the dangers exist. We don't need a learning curve.
