Gloria “Doey” Thurman, 69, of Trenton, GA passed away Friday August 18, 2017. She owned G&J Tax Service with her husband for 13 years and was a member of Circle of Faith Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years John Henry Thurman, Jr.; parents Jack Daniel and Lorene Gifford; sister Jackie Prince.
Surviving include her children John (Cyndi) Thurman, III, Tiffany (Charlie) Robertson, Tabatha (Greg) Hamilton; grandchildren Brittney (Dylan) Mcintire, John Thurman, IV, Lexi Moore, Layla Robertson, Gabe Bice, Kyra Bice, Camden Hamilton, Elizabeth Hamilton, Brandi Samuelson; great-grandchild Addie Mcintire; 4 sisters Sharon Kay Brown, Candy Garner, Mary Ann O’Neill, Loretta Avans; 2 brothers Frankie Gifford and Joe Gifford; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug, 22 in the chapel with Mike Howell and Doug Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South. Family will receive friends 1-5 p.m. Sunday, 4-8 p.m. on Monday and 10-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
