Jennifer Franklin, 50, was arrested on aggravated assault (domestic) charges, after shooting her husband, John Franklin, 58, early Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:38
a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, Mr. Franklin stated to police that he and his wife were involved in a verbal altercation before she shot him.
He arrived at the hospital via personal vehicle. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Ms. Franklin was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this incident.
