  • Tuesday, October 9, 2018

True Value at Oak Brook celebrates its grand opening on Friday. Ambassadors from the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, public, friends and neighbors will  join personnel at the new store located at 9814 East Brainerd Road at 10:30 a.m. as a DeWALT chainsaw is used to cut through a log wrapped with ribbon featuring the True Value logo.  Aftewards, the store will be providing food, chances to win prizes and specially featured items during the day-long celebration.

“Not only are we excited to open this new store, but we’re equally excited about being in this growing area of Ooltewah,” said Rob Pompilio, owner of the store.

“We wanted to do something more than just a traditional ribbon-cutting”, said Dan Currie, of True Value.

“Cutting a log with a DeWALT chainsaw will be a fun way to officially open our doors; however, we’ll also be showcasing lots of our products and special offers, plus we’ll be introducing the public to the most important part of our store, our team members.  These professionals will always be on-point to answer a question, locate an item or help plan a project.  We can’t wait to meet our neighbors.”
