Faye Mullins, 89, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on November 10, 2018, at Standifer Place Nursing Home.
She was born in Roanoke, Va., and lived in Tinley Park, Il., and Roanoke, Va., and has been in Chattanooga for the past 31 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Maranatha Sunday School class. While living in Chattanooga, Faye worked for 13 years as a CNA at Standifer Place and enjoyed caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Annie Lavender; five brothers; two sisters; her husband, James R. Mullins, Sr. and her dear friend, Kenton Hixson.
She is survived by her son, J.R. Mullins, Jr.; sister, Linda Finn; her daughter-in-law, Kim Mullins; son-in-law, Tim Finn and grandchildren Mandy Mullins-Decker, Lexie Mullins, Tony Sharar-Finn, Colleen Sterling, Patrick Mullins.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Summers officiating.
