Started Food Ministry For Memorial Hospital ICU Family Members

Evelyn Hill McArthur, 89, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Ola Kenimer Hill.  Evelyn graduated from Kirkman High School.  She was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church and started a food ministry providing meals to family members at Memorial Hospital ICU.  Evelyn had a great sense of humor, enjoyed organizing family reunions and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady E. McArthur; son, Larry McArthur; grandson, Adam McArthur; her brother and her two sisters.

Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Pam Grantham, Lowell, NC and Patti Walker, Chattanooga; daughter-in-law, Kim McArthur, Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Richard C. Mason officiating.  Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
