Inherited Cancer Risk Support Groups Combine For December Meeting

The Rees Skillern Cancer Institute’s Cancer Risk and Survivorship Center invites the public to join the support group for people at risk for hereditary breast and ovarian cancers (HBOC) and the support group for people diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome at a combined meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at Acropolis Grill, 2213 Hamilton Place Blvd. in Chattanooga
 
Catherine Marcum, DPN, APN, AGACNP-BC, AGN-BC, advanced practice nurse with training in clinical cancer genetics through the City of Hope, and Rhonda Edwards, LCSW, OSW-C, are hosting the celebration.
 
Guests will have the chance to meet others with inherited risks similar to their own.  Appetizers will be provided.
