LYNC Logistics will be joined by the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the completion of its building renovation project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2407 8th Avenue Chattanooga. The dedication will take place on Friday, at 2 p.m.
The project was intended to provide LYNC with an open concept workspace and room to continue their rapid growth. In 2017 LYNC hired Jay Caughman with Caughman + Caughman Architects to redesign the space at 2407 8th Avenue. Interestingly enough, it is a space that his father, Wayne Caughman had designed almost 30 years prior.
“When I started, it was Keith Gray and I in a big conference type room by ourselves. It is crazy to see how much the hard work not only we have put in, but everyone who is a part of the LYNC team has put in, come to fruition. I could not be more excited about the direction we are heading into 2019. LYNC has some big things in store for what we believe is going to separate us from the rest in the future,” said Mathew Soloff, vice president of sales.
Cindy Lee, president and owner of LYNC, and Mr. Caughman worked together to transform the dingy conference room and office into a workspace that now includes space for 100 freight brokers, a food market by Five Star Food Star, and an employee relaxation space complete with a ping pong table, corn hole, and shuffleboard.
Keith Gray, vice president of operations said this of the space, “The new office space has been so refreshing for all of our employees. The daily distractions have now become minimal due to noise reducing technology and added space. It has also given us room to expand as we continue to grow our business.”
LyncAmerica, LLC also announced that it has undergone major rebranding and name change to LYNC Logistics, LLC or just LYNC for short.
The news comes at the end of a red-letter year that landed the company high on the Inc. 500 list, celebrating the fastest growing companies in America.
Ms. Lee said, “Our new name and rebranding fit who we are and what we do – no more hang ups because someone thinks we are a debt collection company. They will now know immediately that we move freight and will learn we do our job well.”
In spring 2018, LYNC hired VaynerMedia to assist in the rebranding which included a top-to-bottom redesign of the company’s website, logo, graphics, communications, and correspondence. With a team lead by Maurice Fider of VaynerMedia, LYNC found its identity.
