Erlanger Health System announces Dr. Yune-Gill Jeong has joined the Erlanger Heart and Lung Institute staff.
Dr. Jeong has been practicing pulmonology for over 20 years. He attended medical school at Chonnam University, then completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital at Northeastern Ohio University of Medicine. Dr. Jeong then went on to attend the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill for his Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship.
Pulmonologists treat ailments of the lungs and respiratory system such as asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis, complicated chest infections and COPD.
Dr. Jeong specializes in COPD, lung cancers, occupational disease, sleep disorders, autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases.
