William “Bill” Howard Bradford, 79, of Chickamauga, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Willie Auri and Una Inez Walker Bradford in Forrest City, Ar. and lived many years in Van Buren, Mo. before moving to the North Georgia area in 1979. Bill attended Moriah Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Fort Oglethorpe Tire for more than 31 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Bill was also preceded in death by his son, Scott Alan Bradford.
He is survived by his loving children, Randall (Linda) Bradford and Lauri (Brent Lacey) Burns; grandchildren, Jessica Bradford (Pete) Anderson, Jaime Bradford (Noah) Chant, Joshua Burns and Adrianne “Addy” Burns (Mathew) Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Anderson, Nora Anderson, Braxton Burns and Jocelyn Burns.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Randy Lynn officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
