Verna Marie Robinson, 95, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
She was a lifelong resident of Ooltewah and was of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil R. Robinson, parents, Earnest and Margrett Earl, brother, Buddy Earl, sister, Jean Bryant.
Verna is survived by her son, Virgil E. (Maudie) Robinson, grandson, David E. (Dana) Robinson, great-grandson, Nathan I. Robinson, all of Ooltewah, several nieces and nephews.
Verna’s family wants to thank Avalon Hospice for all of their tender loving care that they showed Verna. A special thanks to all the nurses , CNAs, the chaplain and social workers. A special thanks to Jackie Conway a special friend to our family. Thanks to all of you for making Verna’s last days on earth a lot better.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Lakewood Memory Gardens East with Pete Reed officiating.
Family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
