The League of Women Voters of Chattanooga is ensuring that voters in Hamilton County have the information to make an informed decision in the General and Primary elections on August 2.
"The LWV Chattanooga invited all 2018 Hamilton County candidates in the General Election, who face opposition, to participate in our Vote411 Voter Guide. Additionally, this Voter Guide includes candidates whom voters will find on their August 2 ballots for the Primary Elections of the Tennessee State House of Representatives and Senate races," officials said. "This Voter Guide provides detailed information on the candidates and issues that matter to voters in this election. Voters can compare positions, background information and qualifications of candidates. Candidate replies have not been altered or edited in any way, and all responses are written in the candidate’s own words to ensure voters can gain a clear impression of who they are and their platforms."
The LWV Chattanooga 2018 Voter Guide can be found on the League’s website. In addition to this guide, voters are encouraged to visit http://www.vote411.org/. VOTE411.org is a nonpartisan "one-stop-shop" for all election-related materials that voters of Hamilton County may need.
