Support For Bill Lee As Next Governor Of Tennessee

Friday, July 13, 2018

Let’s elect Bill Lee as our next governor of Tennessee! My brother Fred and I have had the privilege of working with Bill and his wife Maria as they, after a year of thought and prayer, decided to offer Bill’s extensive knowledge and skills in business, agriculture and community service to the citizens of Tennessee. Fred has served Bill as his campaign Treasurer and I as Bill’s regional finance chair. In those capacities we have witnessed firsthand the quality and ethical campaign Bill has run.

Bill has brought to the campaign his great business skills running a moderately financed campaign that has relied on extensive travel through all our cities, towns and counties. These travels have acquainted Bill and Maria with our state’s great attributes as well as the issues and problems we face.

Bill is a seventh generation Tennessean raising cattle on a family farm, running the state’s largest commercial heating, air conditioning and plumbing company, and providing servant leadership to his church, community and individuals. We were gratified to see the Free Press side of the TFP endorse Bill this morning. Governor for Tennessee – Bill Lee.

Alex George Firing Is Shameful - And Response

My prayers go out to Alex George. It is disgusting and shameful for her to be fired like this, probably illegal as well. I am amazed that a corporation depending on their public persona would behave like this, beyond the pale, unfeeling actions. It’s probably not too late for them to reverse this decision, apologize to her, and begin helping her. Jim Folkner * * * ... (click for more)

Roy Exum: We're Torturing Millions

I’ll admit it – I would rather hurt than take an opioid pain pill. Hydrocodone and its cousins scare the willies out of me because once when I was ‘drug sick,’ it was the worst sickness I have ever known. For somebody who always has somewhere that it hurts, I know that opioids are wonderful when used properly but because they are increasingly abused by society, there are now over ... (click for more)
