Disagree With Esther Helton, And She Blocks You On Facebook

  • Saturday, July 7, 2018
I do not understand why someone running for public office wants to censor the public she wants to represent. That is what Esther Helton does. She did it to me Thursday when I inquired why she concocted an excuse to back out of an important debate Monday night.

My comment on Facebook was deleted and I was blocked from any further comment. She has done the same thing to several friends of mine the past several weeks when they have asked tough, but fair questions.

Want to know what a typical politician running a typical campaign looks like? I give you Esther Helton.

Ms. Helton is running as a Republican in the Aug. 2 Republican Primary against Jonathan Mason. Not only is Ms. Helton not a real Republican (check her voting history), she is hardly a conservative. Mr. Mason is both a real Republican and a true conservative. Ms. Helton can say on her TV ads that she is a conservative, but the people of East Ridge know better.
