Lateral Blue will be playing at Charles and Myrtle's Coffeehouse on Saturday at 8 p.m. The coffeehouse is inside Christ Unity Church at 105 McBrien Road. There is a $10 suggested donation at the door.

Lateral Blue is an acoustic quartet based in Nashville. They met at a bluegrass jam and immediately felt a sense of musical companionship. Each member comes from a different musical upbringing and adds a unique point of view to the music.
This group of young musicians incorporates styles of acoustic music into their repertoire which are adjacent to bluegrass, including pop music, jazz, classical music, and folk tunes and lump it all together to form what they refer to as, "progressive roots music".
