Lorenzo Jarrett
Lorenzo “Lil’ Rabbit” Jarrett, Jr., 41, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019, in a car accident.
He was a graduate of Howard High School class of 1999. He was employed at Pilgrim Pride.
Lorenzo was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Delores Crutcher, Wille Sims, and Melvin Dews, Sr.; stepfather, Frederick Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Aszia Jarrett; daughters, Renazia Jarrett, Asziauna Jarrett, and Lorenzia Jarrett; sons, Dominque Jarrett, Lorenzo Jarrett, III, Lorenzo Jarrett IV; parents, Lorenzo Jarrett, Sr. and Veronica Jackson; a grandchild on the way; grandmother, Shirley Sims; sisters, Lakisha (Jimmy) Collier, Sharon (Garland) Jarrett, Satasha (Marcus) Bell, all of Chattanooga, and Keyatona Moore of Knoxville, TN; brother, Pierre Jarrett of Knoxville; aunts, Pamela Coker, Trina Coker, and LaDawn (Darrick) Yarbrough; uncles, Ralph Jarrett, Kenneth Coker, Rodney Gaines, Randolph Gaines, all of Chattanooga, and Gregory Jarrett of Knoxville; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Tuesday, January 15, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Alexander J. Bullard, Sr. as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
