Larry W. Patton passed away on January 30, 2019, at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Novella Patton and his daughter, Melanie Patton.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Patton; son, Larry W. Patton II of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Kristy Patton of Soddy Daisy; grandson, Seth Patton of Kingspoint, Ga.; and brother, Don Patton of East Ridge.
Larry retired from Chattanooga Fire Department and enjoyed spending his time fishing and petting his beloved dog, Toto.
As per his request, no public funeral services are to be held. However, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
