Baylor Girls Dominate Front Runner Area Cross Country Championships

On a beautiful fall afternoon at Baylor School, Baylor's girls cross country team dominated the Front Runner Area Championships.

 Led by the breakthrough trio of Helen Webb (18:59), Emmy Davis (19:35), and Hannah Rosser (19:58), the Red Raiders posted a low score of 41.

This title is the fourth in a row for the Baylor girls team.

Second place team Chattanooga Patriots had the race winner, Meg Martz (18:41).   Baylor 41. Patriots 79. Signal Mountain 91. Chattanooga Christian 100. GPS 102.  Baylor's JV, led by Natalia Forato (22:57), won the JV race with a perfect score of 15.

Proud Baylor coach Heather Ott praised her team's willingness to "trust their training" and to "run for each other."  She continued, "It's satisfying to see the gritty training in brutal heat pay off!"
