Street Closures For Oct. 21-27

Here are upcoming street closures for Oct. 21-27.

Wednesday, Oct. 23
First Centenary UMC Fall Festival -  Oak Street between Lindsay Street and Houston Street will be closed from 2:30-8:30 p.m. for First Centenary UMC's Fall Festival. 

Thursday, Oct. 24
Ales on 8th -  W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 2-11 p.m. This closure will be in effect each Thursday evening through Feb. 27, 2020. 

IMRG Ride -  Station Street between Market Street and Rossville Avenue will be closed beginning Thursday at 8 a.m. until Friday at 10 a.m. for the Chattanooga Indian Motorcycle Riders Group.

Friday, Oct. 25
Chattajack 31 Paddle Race -  Riverfront Parkway between Power Alley and Chestnut Street will be closed from Friday at noon until Saturday at 11 p.m. for the annual Chattajack Paddle Race. Detours will be posted.

Saturday, Oct. 26
2019 Tennessee Valley Heart Walk From 4 a.m. until noon, the westbound lanes of 3rd Street between Power Alley and Walnut Street. Walnut Street between E Aquarium Way and 3rd Street will be a full closure. Northbound far right lane of Market Street will be closed between 3rd Street and Frazier Avenue. Eastbound far right lane of Frazier Avenue will also be closed between Market Street and the Walnut Street Bridge access. Drivers are encouraged to use caution around participants and to follow all instructions from Chattanooga Police who will be directing traffic at major intersections.   

West Village Street Festivals -  Pine Street between W 7th Street (south of the the Republic Parking lot) and W M.L. King Boulevard, and W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until midnight each Saturday through Dec. 27.

Chattanooga Football Club Match -  Reggie White Boulevard between W 19th Street and the access road to Chattown Skate Park will be closed from 11 a.m. until midnight. No parking will be permitted on Chestnut Street between W 19th Street and Finley Parking access road.  

Halloween On Station Street -  Station Street between Market Street and Rossville Avenue will be closed beginning Saturday at 8 a.m. until Sunday at 2 a.m. for the Freakers Ball on Station Street.

Sunday, Oct. 27
Avondale 5K Color Fun Run - Drivers are asked to use caution in the vicinity of the Carver Youth and Family Development Center / Citico Ave as participants in the color fun run will run along public sidewalks between 7-11 a.m. 

Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Blvd between W 17th Street and W 19th Street will be closed from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. for the Chattanooga Market. This week's featured event is the "Haunted Market".
