Frances Jacqueline Byers, 83, of Rising Fawn, peacefully went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, October 2, 2019. She was a member of the Rising Fawn Baptist Church.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Byers and her parents, Mike and Winnie Buffington.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Marie Brodie (Jerry); two sons, Allen Byers and Victor Byers; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Ben L. Buffington; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. at Rising Fawn Baptist Church, with Reverend Jerry Atkins and Reverend Richard Byers officiating. Interment will follow in Deer Head Cove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 4 from 4-8 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Rising Fawn Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rising Fawn Baptist Church Choir.
