Davie Wade
Davie Daniel Wade, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Hennie Wade; daughter, Deidra Adams; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, all of Eaton, GA; brothers, S.B. Wade of Chattanooga and Jessie (Luverta) Wade of New Brunswick, NJ; sisters, Carrie (Floyd) Harden of Chattanooga, Lola Mae Morgan of Madison, GA, and Laura (Kenneth) Morton of New Brunswick NJ; brothers-in-law, Reverend Jessie Porch and Sylvester Murphy, both of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Mary King of Chattanooga and Frances Ruffin of Los Angeles, CA; special daughters, Carolyn Justice, Vickie Thompson, Charity Holmes, and Delphine Stafford, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor C.L. Douglas as the eulogist.
Burial will be on Monday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
