James Wilbanks
James Barney Wilbanks, Jr., 73 of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019.
He was born on March 27, 1946 in Chattanooga, and lived his married life in Ringgold.
Jim was a graduate of East Ridge High School class of 1964. He was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church and the Joe Miller Men’s Sunday School Class.
He was precede in death by his parents, James Barney Wilbanks, Sr. and Louise Curtis Wilbanks and a sister, Patricia Wilbanks Brown.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Webb Wilbanks; daughter, Michelle Wilbanks Campbell; son, James Matthew Wilbanks; two grandsons, E. Christopher Davis, Jr. and James Wyatt Wilbanks; brother-in-law, Richard L. Brown and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with Dr. Steve Rowland, Ken Kendall and Joe Miller officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12–3 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brainerd Baptist Church 300 Brookfield Avenue, Chattanooga, Tn. 37411.
