Upcoming Street Closings Announced

Here are upcoming street closings:

Thursday:

 

US Capitol Christmas Tree Tour - Miller Park - The northbound right lane of Market Street between E 13th Street and MLK Boulevard will be closed Thursday, November 21st from 11AM until 1PM for the arrival and display of the US Capitol Christmas Tree on it's northward trek to Washington DC.


Dwell Hotel Private Event - Custom Street between Lindsay Street and Columbia Street will be closed Thursday, November 21st from 11AM until 11PM for a private event hosted by The Dwell Hotel.


Ales on 8th -  W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed on Thursday, November 21st from 2PM until 11PM.

This closure will be in effect each Thursday evening through February 27, 2020.   

 

Saturday:

 

Chattanooga Cruise In Toy Drive - Fort Street and Chestnut Street between W 13th Street and W 14th Street will be closed Saturday, November 23rd from 6AM until Noon annual Chattanooga Cruise In Toy Drive benefiting Toys For Tots, sponsored by Coker Tire.


The Neighborhood Cup - Futsal Tournament -  Kirby Avenue between S Beech Street and S Willow Street will be closed Saturday, November 23rd from 6AM until 7PM for The Neighborhood Cup, sponsored by Chattanooga Sports Ministries. 

 

Brainerd Baptist Family Fun Run -  Drivers are asked to use caution and look out for participants of the annual Brainerd Baptist Family Fun Run taking place on Saturday, November 23rd from 8AM until Noon. Participants will be utilizing the following neighborhood streets: Albermarle Ave, Marlboro Ave, Lonsdale Drive, Amhurst Ave, Mayfair Ave and Brookfield Ave.


West Village Street Festivals  Pine Street between W 7th Street (south of the the Republic Parking lot) and W M.L. King Boulevard, and W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 am until Midnight each Saturday through December 27, 2019.  


Sunday:

 

Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Blvd between W 17th Street and W 19th Street will be closed Sunday, November 24th from 6AM until 8PM for the Chattanooga Market.  This week's theme is the 'Thanksgiving Market'.
