Mary Sue Chastain, 86, a lifelong resident of this area passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at her home.

Sue was born on December 13, 1932 in Cleveland, Tn a daughter of the late Homer and Mamie Henry. She was of the Baptist faith. Sue was an active member of the Pilot Club and enjoyed bowling in her spare time. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ulys “Booley” Chastain, one sister, Juanita Chastain and two brothers, Bud Henry and Gene Henry. 

Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Kay Chastain and Ann Chastain, one son, Terry Joe Chastain, one brother, Weyman Henry (Mary Alice) of Ocoee, Tn, nieces, nephews, her cat “Precious” other extended family members and special friend George Beck. 

A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, February 19, at 3 p.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church at 358 Highway 64 in Ocoee, Tn., with the Reverend Charlie Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. service time. 

The interment will follow the service in the Benton Memorial Gardens with Todd Henry, John Henry, George Beck, Mike Henderson, Rick Hooper and Steve McCollum serving as pallbearers. Terry Beaty will serve as honorary pallbearer.
