Students in the Polytech Academy at Chattanooga State work with equipment in the Polytech lab
The Polytech Academy at Chattanooga State will hold an Open House on Monday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. in room 341 of the Center for Engineering, Technology, Arts & Sciences building (CETAS). Visitors may use the West Entrance roadway to reach the CETAS building.
Established in 2017 by the Early College Department working in partnership with the Engineering & Information Technologies Division at Chattanooga State Community College,
Polytech Academy is a unique blend of high school, dual credit, and dual enrollment courses designed to give students a jump start on their education and career paths. Paths available are: Chemical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, and Computer Information Technology. Students will take these courses at Chattanooga State utilizing its labs and equipment.
Students enrolled at Polytech Academy will earn more than 40 credit-hours toward a degree while completing their high school diploma, meet business and industry leaders, and get hands-on training with Chattanooga State’s state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment.
