For those who are at-risk for or managing diabetes, knowledge is the key to prevention and blood glucose control. Parkridge Health System has partnered with the Chickamauga Public Library to offer an interactive educational program focused on helping you make healthy lifestyle choices that empower you to better manage or prevent diabetes.
The program will be led by Lisa Brooks, a nurse practitioner who is board-certified in advanced diabetes management.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Mastering Diabetes, a free education program, will take place at the Chickamauga Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all.
