Janet Jernigan
Janet Jernigan, age 67, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Murray Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jernigan; brother, Clyde Langham; sister, Brenda Dobbs; parents, Harold and Mollie Langham; and grandson, Thomas Preston Brown IV.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacy McGill and Thomas Preston Brown III of Montclair, Va., Kimberly and Pedro Infante of Baytown, Tx.; Ashley and Derrick Hart of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Shawn McGill and Karin Mashburn of Dalton, Ron and Kelly McGill of Broken Arrow, Ok., Tracy and Melissa McGill of Fishers, In., Matthew Jernigan of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Wylene and Doug Eaker of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Bennett and Peggy Langham of Chatsworth; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. David Eaton officiating.
The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
Burial will be in the Dawnville Cemetery.
